Focus Group--Designing our Data: GEiHP's Open Salary Spreadsheet

Have you accessed the Gender Equity in Hiring Project's Open Salary Spreadsheet and the data it contains?  Have you searched the spreadsheet to benchmark salary or search for creative benefits? This means that in some way, you are already involved in a dialogue about data, how we collect data, ask questions, and what questions are the right questions to ask *at this moment* as we move into this period of new/continued uncertainty in our field. We hope that you've found the information you needed--now WE NEED YOU!

Join a small group of folks to help us design the instrument and shape the questions that will help us collect the next round of data from our community by participating in a focus group about how YOU use (or have used) this data. 

Our goal is to design the right set of questions in the right format and structure and to make sure that within those questions, we're asking what's needed now, and doing what we can to predict what will be most useful in the next period. To do this properly, efficiently, and effectively, we need your input, curiosity, and questions, and to understand why YOU, like our users, are taking advantage of these resources.

Without your valuable reflections, we won't know how best to design for the future. Please share with us what we don't know--so that we can learn, and design for our entire community.
