About the Event

PTO is designed to give employees time away from work to rest, recharge, and attend to personal matters. It may include a variety of different options, and work within particular boundaries, depending on the needs of your employees and the type of workplace culture you're creating.

This GEiHP Policy Hackathon will be divided into two conversations:

Monday, March 25:            Define what PTO is, for your organization and your employees

In this first session, we will clearly articulate what paid time off is, within your organizational parameters, define what policies might come under this policy umbrella, and who this policy serves.

Wednesday, March 27:    Write policy reflective of and aligned with your organization's needs, mission and vision. We will uncover who is included, who is eligible, how this grows workplace culture and how this policy intersects with our Jewish tradition.

GEiHP Public Hackathons are pay-what-you-wish starting at $36.

POLICIES      Please note that this session may be canceled if enrollment does not meet a minimum enrollment. We encourage you to invite others to join us who might benefit from this session.  All participant cancellations must be made no fewer than 5 days in advance. Fees are refundable if cancellation is prior to this 5 day period. After that, all payments are non-refundable. If you do not attend a session for which you have registered, you will not receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer your registration.

Pay It Forward

Registrants who are not able to use their event or workshop tickets may "Pay It Forward" and send another person to the workshop for which you have registered, based on the gift model of The Op Ed Project. If you choose to "pay it forward", and also wish to register yourself for another event at another date, we will give you a credit of $25 towards a future program.  Please contact us prior to selecting this option for a future program. You must authorize your gift with us before sharing registration information with another participant. Unfortunately, we are not able to retroactively issue your credit.
